Since we had no other big plans for Christmas Day, we were able to go see Grandma Collins. Her nursing home had a special lunch meal for their residents, and they were allowed to have guests. So, we had dinner with Grandma and Uncle Paul and Aunt Phyllis. It was nice to see Grandma, and she sure lit up at the chance to see Elli! Even though her memory is not very good, she knew exactly who Elli is, and she knew that Elli's middle name is named after her.
