A group of our friends recently formed the "Supper Club" as an excuse to make sure that we see each other regularly. We get together to eat a meal, and there's always a theme to the meal. The theme for our first gathering was "Mediterranean BBQ", and the theme for our second gathering was "Heart attack" - the most calorie-rich, heavy food you could think of. (Sadly, we missed that one, although I heard that Rob's flourless chocolate cake was heavenly!)
We held the third gathering at our house in December, with a them of "It's not the holidays without ____". In Mexico, it is traditional for the 9 days before Christmas to have family gatherings, and a part of those family gatherings is a pinata each night. As such, Johnny and Myriam brought a traditional pinata, which added to the fun of our evening. Here are a couple of pictures:
